Coaching/Consulting

Consultations can be helpful for those working through a specific circumstantial problem or for creating a concrete plan to move forward when an individual is stuck (e.g. professional development, opening a private practice, etc.). They are usually a set number of short-term, time-bound appointments.

FAQs

  • No, I do not accept insurance. At the moment I am only seeing private pay clients.

  • I accept all major credit card payments in addition to Venmo, and Paypal. Payment is due in full before the start of each appointment.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling of appointments must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment to avoid a full fee charge.

  • I believe that psychotherapy should be accessible to everyone. For those who can’t afford full rates, please inquire about my sliding scale availability (income-based reduced fee sessions).

  • Length of treatment depends on a number of factors, such as treatment goals, presenting issue, and the client’s engagement in therapy. Typically, benefits are experienced more quickly when clients are able to maintain their weekly appointments and practice skills outside of session.

  • I am not licensed to prescribe medication, though I often work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other physicians, when patients wish to pursue both medication and psychotherapy.
